Universal personal energy wallet

(approx. 150 words)
Please describe the Wild Card (approx. 150 words)
Everyody has one's own personal "energy wallet" which may be used as univerzal source of energy (battery) for various electronic personal gadgets (such as notebook, mobile phone, mp3 player, gameboy, shaving machine etc.). Thanks to new technologies the energy wallet may have practically unlimited capacity and durability and may be easily recharged from the regular electricity network. This new energy storage, created in synergy and cooperation among micro and nano technologies R&D, power sources manufacturers and electronic gadgets producers, may significantly change attitude of users to energy consumption, electronic devices employment and ecology.

Features of life if the wild card manifests

Feature 1: business models and industrial environment
The energy supply of personal electronic devices will be cheeper, easier and more ecological. New market leaders may oarise on the energy wallets market.
Feature 3: consumers, markets and lifestyles
Easier life of users of electronic devices. Increase of demand for the elecronic devices compatible with the universal energy wallet.
Feature 4: technology and infrastructure
Development of infrastructure for recharging of the universal energy wallets.

Type of event

Human planned (e.g. terrorist attack or funded scientific breakthrough)

Type of emergence

please select (if any) describe related trend or situation
A new development/situation
(e.g. a Romani state is established in central Europe; A message from an alien civilisation existing on a distant planet is received and understood, etc.
There is a trend today to have different types of separated proprietary accumulators for diferenc electronic devices (digital cameras, MP3 players etc.).

Historical parallels

Petrol and diesel as almost universal propellant for cars.

Type of systems affected

Human-built Systems - E.g. organisations, processes, technologies, etc.
